Nihon Kohden introduces NetKonnect and NetKonnect LT software to view real-time patient data on a networked PC
January 10, 2006
TOKYO, JAPAN - Nihon Kohden introduces NetKonnect and NetKonnect LT software for Life Scope patient monitoring networks. This software essentially lets you use a PC as a monitoring terminal. This increases the flexibility of a patient monitoring system without adding more central or bedside monitors.
NetKonnect LT software is installed on a PC that is directly connected to a Life Scope patient monitoring network. This lets the caregiver can access patient monitor data for any patient in the network.
NetKonnect software is installed on a server in the Life Scope patient monitoring network. This server links to the hospital network so you can view real-time patient monitor data from any PC in the hospital network. With a VPN, you can also view monitor data over the internet from anywhere in the world. The monitor data is viewed on a web browser that shows clear waveforms and data just like the bedside monitor display.
Both NetKonnect and NetKonnect LT display patient data that includes 12-lead ECG, full disclosure data, arrhythmia and ST recall, trends and other information.
