Nihon Kohden electrocardiographs comply with the new IEC60601-2-51 quality standard

TOKYO, JAPAN - Nihon Kohden declares compliance of its electrocardiographs with IEC60601-2-51. Established in 2003, IEC60601-2-51 is the new international standard for digital electrocardiographs. It includes requirements for performance such as digital filter performance and ECG measurement accuracy. The previous standard for electrocardiographs, IEC60601-2-25, defines safety requirements.
All of Nihon Kohden's currently sold electrocardiographs meet the new standard.
