Nihon Kohden opens Italy subsidiary

BERGAMO, ITALY - Today, Nihon Kohden Corporation opened a new subsidiary, Nihon Kohden Italy S.r.l., in Bergamo, Italy.

Nihon Kohden Italy was established as a fully owned subsidiary of Nihon Kohden Europe to handle the dealerships and provide marketing support and after sales service for Italy.

Nihon Kohden Italy officially opens on April 1, 2001. The branch manager is Jacopo Peschiera, an expert with several years of experience in this market. Toshifumi (Tommy) Kamihirata has been appointed president; he also has the same position at Nihon Kohden Europe. Achim Wietfeld and Peter Wuest of NKE are the directors of NKI.
