Support to Areas Affected by Tohoku Pacific Earthquake (2nd report)

We extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to all those who have suffered as a result of the Earthquake in the Pacific Coast of the Tohoku Region.
We announced the current support activities to areas affected by Tohoku Pacific Earthquake.
1. Monetary Donation
In order to support victims of the earthquake and relief efforts, Nihon Kohden Group donated 10 million-yen to the Japanese Red Cross Society, as announced on March, 13.
As we realize the severity of the disaster, we decided another donation of 50 million-yen.
Nihon Kohden Group employees outside Japan also donated to Tohoku Pacific Earthquake Relief Fund through the Red Cross Society of each country.
2. Equipment Donation
We decided a donation of 30 AEDs, 30 patient monitors and medical supplies, as announced on March, 13.
We also rent 200 patient monitors, 100 AEDs and 10 ventilators as well as offering 70,000 surgical masks, medical supplies and cover gowns to DMAT (Disaster Medical Assistance Team) and medical institutions in affected areas as needed.
3. Other Support
Nihon Kohden Group employees are currently raising funds of monetary donation to support relief efforts in affected areas.
We will continue preparing further support activities and truly wish for a fast recovery to the daily lives of all the people affect by this earthquake.
