Nihon Kohden establishes sales subsidiary in Dubai

Nihon Kohden Corporation announced that it establishes sales subsidiary in Dubai, Nihon Kohden Middle East FZE, aiming to expand the market across the Middle East and Africa which is one of the major emerging markets. Operations will commence in October 2012.

In Dubai, Middle East representative office had conducted sales activities through local agencies. Middle East and Africa has shown economic growth and the medical equipment market is expected to expand. Accordingly, we establish this direct sales office in order to expand operations in Middle East. It will perform sales and service operations with regional distributors with the aim of enhancing brand image and providing tailored customer services.

Under its mid-term business plan, “SPEED UP III”, Nihon Kohden reinforces the operations in emerging economies to seize the growth opportunity. We will continue to develop products tailored to emerging markets as well as expanding sales networks.
